First on the docket, we’ve got a real nail-biter between the Black and Red teams. The Black, showing all the pluck of a comeback kid, managed to edge out the Red 15 to 12, improving their record to a solid 2 – 1, while the Red team slipped down to 0 – 3. But don’t forget, folks, in baseball, every day’s a new opportunity to turn things around.
Next in line was the Navy and Royal showdown – a match tighter than a fresh baseball glove! Navy pulled off a last-minute win at 30 to 29, improving their record to 2 – 1. Royal, after their loss to Navy and another to Red, stands at 1 – 2. Keep those chins up, Royals, the season’s still young!
Speaking of Red, they finally managed to put a W on the board against Royal, ending the game at 27 to 19. This much-needed victory leaves the Red team at 1 – 3, and the Royals, as mentioned earlier, at 1 – 2.
Lastly, we had the Green vs Black matchup. Like a seasoned slugger, Green knocked it out of the park against the Black, winning the game 19 to 7. This victory brought Green’s record up to 2 – 1, while Black stands at 2 – 1.
So, to sum it up, here’s how the standings look after the dust has settled on Week 2:
